Included are the AYER NEWS FILE, 1938-1986, and other company newsletters; pamphlets describing the company; pamphlets on patriotic themes published annually on Independence Day; dinner menus, invitations, and programs of anniversary dinners, memorial services (including one for Francis Wayland Ayer, 1923), and other company events; catalogs and programs, ca. 1930s, from exhibits at the Ayer Galleries; pocket calendars for distribution to employees, 1986; telephone directories for the New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago offices, ca. 1940s-1970s; and other books and pamphlets on the company, advertising, business, and miscellaneous topics including a description and history of the Morris House, a guest house owned by the company, ca. 1907 to the present. Much of the material was published by the company's own press, Ayer Press.
